2009 Cartier Diamond Dagger

The Crime Writer's Association of the UK has just announced the winner of its annual Cartier Diamond Dagger award. This years honors go to Andrew Taylor, the author of Bleeding Heart Square and The American Boy. I've done some digging, and very little of his writing (correct me if I'm wrong) has been published in the US. Bleeding Heart Square won't be hitting the shelves until March of 09. Here are a few of the previous winners.

2007: Broken Shore by Peter Temple
2006: Raven Black by Ann Cleeves
2005: Silence of the Grave by Arnaldur Indridason
2004: Blacklist by Sara Paretsky
